Who says the next round of expansions will be for the sake

of expanding? Right now there are potential candidates (i.e. OU and Texas) out there that could add real value to the ACC. If the Big Ten, Pac-12, or SEC make the first move and grab all the valuable candidates, then the ACC could be left with deciding whether to add Cincy, Memphis, Temple or Buffalo to get to the same number as some of the P4 conferences vs. remaining at 14 football members and potentially the smallest P4 conference.
